Born in the French Riviera, Nicolas Oury started as an electronic student at the University of Toulon. Then he moved for a second university in Lyon to learn Japanese language and marketing while being a musician. With a master’s degree, he started to work in 2006 directly in Akihabara, famous for being the electric and electronic district of Tokyo. Then in 2011, he moved to a car navigation device manufacturer while starting slowly to think about creating his own company.
In November 2013, he started Alien Soundworks Corporation. Since then, Alien Soundworks became the official Japanese distributor for famous brands like EverTune and VGS guitars. Also, Nicolas became a guitar technician for popular artists like Nocturnal Bloodlust, Crystal Lake and more.
Nowadays Alien Soundworks Corporation is building custom guitars and accessories dedicated to professional musicians and working on partnership with other distributors and guitar Japanese manufacturers like Combat or ESP. Alien Soundworks is also importing from many countries a wide variety of guitar parts and strings for the Japanese guitar market.
